This is a blog about modern and historical American Politics from a theoretical perspective. I offer many ideas about currently relevant politics; however, the focus of the majority of my writing is not to argue a position, but to gain a better understanding of political causes by critically analyzing events with competing political ideological viewpoints. In doing this I hope to better our community's understanding of what politics really consists off, and how individual citizens can make macro-issues meaningful in their daily lives.
Some articles will be more news oriented, some theory oriented, and some disoriented. This tends to make some articles much longer than others, the longest postings will appear as their own pages on the side so if you've got time to kill...
If you wish to take a quote or an idea from any of my works you must reference me as the source. If you do not you cite me, you are plagiarizing - it might be a crime.
The blog will be updated every so often and more sections will be added in the future.
If you like or hate my ideas feel free to leave comment or write me hate mail, I enjoy both.
Techne, or techné, as distinguished from episteme, is etymologically derived from the Greek word τέχνη (Ancient Greek: [tékʰnɛː], Modern Greek [ˈtexni] (help·info)) which is often translated as craftsmanship, craft, or art. It is the rational method involved in producing an object or accomplishing a goal or objective. The means of this method is through art. Techne resembles episteme in the implication of knowledge of principles, although techne differs in that its intent is making or doing, as opposed to "disinterested understanding." - from Wikipedia
